DIGITAL FAN SPACE MODERATION

I have loved fan spaces online for years, beginning purely as a fan who enjoyed using these spaces to meet new people. I realised how incredible these spaces are, and started moderating them voluntarily for some artists I love. This introduced me to the world of audience development.

What this has given me:

A valuable hands-on insight into audience development
The ability to communicate reliably with artists and labels
Experience running competitions, giveaways, presales, listening parties, and assisting with creative campaign audience strategy

A personal highlight as part of the Moderation team is coordinating fundraisers. After the end of The Last Dinner Party's 2024 tours, I was able to run communications with Bankuet charity continue the band's fundraiser as part of the server's festive event throughout December. Raising a further £715 alongside the money raised across the Prelude To Ectacy UK&Ireland tour.
